Shaving
Dear Quatty,
Last weekend I wanted to wear a dress but I needed to shave my legs. I was gonna wear boots so I figured I only needed to shave the top part. I changed my mind about the outfit and decided to try leggings and sandals instead, so I shaved the part that stuck out from the leggings. I ended up not wearing that either so now I have a ring of hair left. Next time I should just shave the whole thing like normal people do.

What's in my purse today?
Hi Quatty,
I had a pitch this morning at 8:00 so i'm pretty tired.
While I was waiting for the notes I went through my purse. This is what I found:
1. Coin Purse - Contains 4 quarters exactly
2. Wallet - Contains a $5 bill and 52 cents in change, various cards
3. 1 ball point pen and 1 felt tip pen. One for drawing, one for writing checks
4. A spotty banana
5. Sunglasses
6. Pair of easter socks with chickens on them. ( I forgot to draw the faces on them)
7. Lip balm - pumpkin flavor
8. Check book. The next check has Cinderella on it
9. A sample pack of "living green liquid gels"
10. A handsomely framed picture (You know what this is Quatty)
11. New headphones. haven't used them yet
12. An orange from grandma's tree. Looks more like a lemon to me.
13. Mirror. Today at lunch I got some rice stuck in my bangs. This would have been useful
14. My telly
And that is all :)

Snow Globe
Dear Quatty,
This weekend I picked up Grandma's new dog Nikki from the shelter.
The dog was in the back seat with her and Adam was riding in the front. (He's allergic)
The dog's breath smelled like rotten broccoli so I had to put the window down. As soon as I did, it was like being inside a filthy snow globe with dog hair swirling all over the place.
Aside from the shedding, the dog was pretty well behaved.

Faces & Candy
Dear Quatty,
Here's another thing I submitted to the caricature show. It was something that happened at a meeting.
Also, I discovered something wonderful today. It's a Canadian candy bar called Bueno, made by Kinder. It's the thinnest wafer pocket stuffed with really fluffy hazelnut cream. So light it feels like you almost didn't eat it at all. Incredible. I almost wish I didn't know about it because then I wouldn't miss it. Lucky Canada.
Happy weekend!

Dream shopping
Dear Quatty,
last night I had a dream that I walked really far from my house and wound up in Portland, where I found a really good clothing store. (it was dream walking so it wasn't that bad)
I found strange ruffled old timey shoes, a thin knitted poncho with a fox on it and a long blue cardigan. Everything was expensive but I was gonna buy it anyway. I was pretty disappointed when I woke up because the things I was gonna buy didn't exist. Not yet anyway. :)
Huppy weekend!

Blushstache
Dear Quatty,
Hope you had a good weekend.
Last week after running somewhere I made an unfortunate discovery. I looked in the mirror and saw that my whole face had turned pink except for the space on my upper lip. It looked like I had a white mustache. Why would my face do something so dumb? Does that mean every time I've ever become flushed I've had a negative space mustache?
This is unfortunate
Bonus:
Since I didn't specify, I guess you're right. The cat could be all butts. Poor kitty....Pitty

Request #2
Dear Mammy,
If I were stuck on a tropical Island and allowed only three items, this is what I would choose:
1. A very good, sharp knife
2. A large brand new lighter
3. A survival book for a tropical region
Why these? I guess most people answer with movies and books and such. But what good is a book if you're gonna die before you can finish reading it? A dvd is also no good because that requires a player and electricity. All that. So I would choose items that would help me survive.
If I've learned anything from Survivorman, it's that you can't do anything without a good knife.
I would use it to cut branches for my shelter, make tools, pry open shells, open coconuts, fillet my fish. .... All kinds of stuff.
Fire is also a necessity for survival. So I choose a lighter. Easier than trying to use twigs or light matches. It will run out eventually, but if I plan correctly, I can make it last a long time.
And finally, the survival book. You can't last on fish and coconuts for long. Your body will start to cannibalize itself. Something I learned from a Lost featurette. So I figure this will tell me what's edible, poisonous and other useful stuff.
There you have it.

Request # 1
Dear Quatty,
For you I will post another comic about me, since you like to see me embarrass myself. That won't be hard. I do it every day.
But first I'll post a response to pappy's question:
Why are peas round?
The part about peas is near the middle, but the whole thing is good.
Look Around You
PS,
Today I remembered to turn my headphones down after a presentation :)

Mysterious figure
The other day I saw a news clip about someone who saw Jesus in their cat's fur. I checked out dilly, but she's got nothing.
When I opened my eyes this morning I saw a strange figure in front of me. It took a moment before I realized it was the corner of a plastic bag on my bookshelf.
Who could this be?
