Beach Party

Went to the beach on Sunday for Lissa's Birthday. We spent the whole day on the sand and lit up a bonfire at night. I scooped out a little chair and read my comic book. Jason dug a really deep hole and stayed in it for most of the day. Every kid that walked by was amazed.

Unrelated, today I thought it would be nice to wear some perfume so I put some on in the morning. Turns out I forgot my deodorant. :(

Smoky Burbank

There's so much smoke in the air from the fires, it hurts to breathe. I'll just have to make it through the morning with my water and basket of figs

massage

Yesterday I was excited because I signed up for a massage. It was supposed to be a 30 minute chair massage, but didn't end up that way. I was greeted by an asian lady who looked like a roller derby girl. She had on a bright tide shirt and short shorts. I guess that's what makes her comfortable.

Turns out "crunchy" means the little bits of lactic acid built up in my muscles. Later I realized that you're supposed to tip your masseuse. I felt pretty bad and started to stress out, probably undoing the benefits of the massage. This morning I woke up with really sore shoulders.

Bad Dream

Last night I had a dream that I was stuck in a horror movie with kidnappers trying to abduct me from a hotel room. I couldn't wake up in the morning because I needed to find a better hiding place in the dream.

Pretty dumb reason to be late for work.

Ring

In a meeting the other day I was sitting next to one of the directors and my ring flew under his seat. Nobody seemed to notice, so I spent the whole time glancing under his seat trying to think of ways to discretely get it back.

After he got up I
quickly snatched it from the floor. This time I was lucky.
P.S. I had to break up this image into 2 pieces because the first time it was too small to read!
