Felts for Gallery Nucleus show

Some pieces I did for the Super Big Micro Gallery Show at Nucleus.

Lots of people did a ton of great pieces that you can check out here:

Here's a few photos of my pieces, courtesy of Lissa who also has a few things in the show.

  2. Excellent work! Whoever bought these had better display them in the sunshine. They look just that much more adorable that way.

  4. I love these! If I had the cash I'd snag the little guy with the lederhosen for sure.

Did you teach yourself to do the felting? Can you recommend any resources for beginners? I'd like to try it!

  5. David - Yes! It takes a long time. But that depends on the level of detail. I Did kind of learn it on my own. It's easy to do, just time consuming. There are a bunch of fun starter kits if you'd like to try. I would try one of these:

They come with everything you need to get started.

  6. Hi Scoopy! Thanks for the input! My wife got me a felted nativity for Christmas and I was so excited by that that I ordered this book on Amazon..

It's great! It's not really a project book so much as just teaching technique so you can do what you want with it. You should check it out because it might give you some more ideas!

Love your work as always! Happy felting!
